The Academic Senate of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) visited the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) on Tuesday (21/07/2026) as part of the 2026 Monitoring and Evaluation of Academic Activities.
The USU Academic Senate delegation was led by the Chair of the USU Academic Senate, Prof. dr. Drs. Budi Agustono, M.S., together with several commission leaders, namely the Chair and Secretary of Commission A, Prof. Dr. Suryanto, M.Sc. and Prof. drg. Sondang Pintauli, Ph.D., FISDPH., FISPD.; the Chair of Commission B, Prof. Ir. Nazaruddin, M.T.; the Chair of Commission C, Prof. Dr. Erman Munir, M.Sc.; and the Secretary of Commission D, Prof. Ir. Nurlisa Ginting, M.Sc., Ph.D.
The USU Academic Senate delegation was welcomed and received by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., at the Faculty Council Room (DPF) of the USU Faculty of Law. During the visit, the Dean was accompanied by the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure, Dr. Zulfi Chairi, S.H., M.Hum.; the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum.; as well as all Heads and Secretaries of the Study Programs within the USU Faculty of Law.
This visit was part of the implementation of the USU Academic Senate's function in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of academic activities within the university. Through this visit, the USU Academic Senate held discussions with the faculty leadership and study program administrators at the USU Faculty of Law regarding various developments, achievements, and challenges encountered in the implementation of academic activities.
