Working Visit of the Academic Senate of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) to the Academic Senate of Universitas Sumatera Utara

In an effort to enhance knowledge and insight, particularly regarding policies related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the Academic Senate of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) conducted a working visit to the Academic Senate of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) on Friday, 10 June 2022. This visit also served as a reciprocal visit, as previously the Academic Senate of USU had visited the Academic Senate of UNAIR in Surabaya on 14 December 2021. The UNAIR delegation consisted of 12 members and was led by the Chair of the Academic Senate, Prof. Djoko Santoso, dr., Ph.D., Sp.PD., K-GH., FINASIM, along with the Secretary of the Academic Senate, Prof. Dr. Mustain, M.Si.

The UNAIR delegation consisted of 12 members and was led by the Chair of the Academic Senate, Prof., dr., Djoko Santoso, Ph.D., Sp.PD.K-GH.FINASIM, and the Secretary of the Academic Senate, Prof. Dr. Mustain, M.Si.

The meeting took place in the Academic Senate Meeting Room, located on the 2nd floor of the USU Central Administration Bureau Building. From the Academic Senate of USU, the meeting was attended by the Chair of the Academic Senate, Prof. Dr. Suwarto, S.H., M.H., who also delivered welcoming remarks. It was followed by the Secretary of the Academic Senate of USU, Romi Fadillah Rahmat, B.Comp.Sc., M.Sc., who presented an overview of the work and performance of the Academic Senate during the 2019–2022 period, as well as policies related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education at USU.

In addition to the Chair and Secretary of the Academic Senate of USU, the Chairs and Secretaries of Commissions A, B, C, and D of the USU Academic Senate, totaling eight members, were also present. The discussion and exchange of experiences lasted for approximately two hours. Not only did the Academic Senate of UNAIR gain insights from the Academic Senate of USU, but the USU Academic Senate also actively asked questions and learned from UNAIR regarding policies related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
